What a great place! Great ambiance, wine selection, and service. Fantastic addition to a growing downtown Valparaiso restaurant and bar scene. You will love picking from a diverse selection of wines a taste, half glass, or a full glass serving. Many of these wines you can only enjoy by the bottle in other bars or restaurants. Well done!!! Try this place!
Great wine, great atmosphere. The owners are amazing people, super friendly and more then willing to go above and beyond for my boyfriend and I when we had some car trouble. Highly recommend due to both the experience with the wine bar itself and the amazing people!
tldr; good potential, not worth it/ready yet. Too expensive currently as well.

I really wanted to like this place but I must push back on so many of these 5-star reviews. If you really like wines, there's only 20 wines to try- samples pours are priced from just over $2 to $8 (yikes!). Definitely pricey. There's comfortable seating and style. I can see why people hang out here. It was busy while we were there. But just disappointed in the variety and price of the wines- which is what this place should be about.
I am a huge wine fan, and I was very excited to check this place out. However, I was pretty disappointed with my experience. Like other Local Guides leaving reviews here, I disagree with the many 5 star reviews.
I would be remiss if I didn't mention the price. Any wine fan understands the glasses will be expensive, but I was shocked at some of the prices here. A half glass was well above the typical full glass markup. Consider also that you're doing the "work" yourself - the price you pay is for *self served* wine. I didn't expect this to be a bargain shop, but I didn't think it would be as pricey as a high end dinner spot either.
Overall, this place has a lot of promise and potential. I think a lot of the frustrations I experienced were new business bugs that need to be worked out. The staff definitely needs more experience too, and time will help with that. I plan to come back in a few months and check things out again. Right now, however, it's not worth stopping by.
The concept of self serve wine is great, and I love that you only pay for what you pour. However, the selection each night is pretty limited. The first 3 wines I went to try were out, which left me standing at the dispenser machine with air hissing out. It was very busy, and there was a not list of the bottles they had out that night. That left everyone awkwardly bumbling around trying to read the labels up close, looking for something they like. The inside atmosphere is great, but too small and seating is limited. Maybe a rearrange would help things.
Great outdoor seating. Good music. Nice selection of wine. Lots of colorful LED lights. I'm a sucker for LED lights. One star off for being on the pricey side.
It was very busy when I arrived, and having never been before, I was unsure where to go when I walked in. There were many staff behind the bar, but none were quick to welcome people in, and a line quickly formed at the door. After waiting several minutes, a bartender showed us around and how the process worked.
