We have always had good enough experiences here (that's why the 3 stars), and I have recommended this place to many people. However, today I took my son there because he split his head open and needed stitches. They told me when I got there that the doctor on duty had just had eye surgery and could not perform any stitch procedures today. I just have one question....why on earth would you allow a physician who is not fit for duty to work and also be the only doctor there for the day? It is almost like they don't want the patients to be there. We ended up leaving and going over to Porter's 24 hr ER on Roosevelt in town, and they could not have been nicer and more efficient. In and out in less than an hour.
Been going since they opened: immediate care, scans, appointments. Alway speedy and kind!
Very good experience here. Staff was very friendly/helpful. The doctor was very competent in figuring out how to address my elderly father's issues. I even called back twice that evening with questions and they were very courteous and helpful.
I love this clinic. They offer state of the art services in one convenient location. Not to mention my Nurse Practitioner, Nicole Green is thorough, patient and very knowledgeable. She understands her scope of practice and works well with other practioners to provide the best care for her patients. I have been an RN for 33 years...so I am picky. I feel well cared for and respected as a human being. You just don't always see that in healthcare these days.
I'm not sure what all the bad reviews are about but if you plan to see a physician, Angie Tursman is AMAZING! She looks at the whole picture and tries to fix the actually cause, not just the symptoms. The lab nurses have always been fantastic. I can't say much about the admissions employees or other offices but you won't be disappointed with Tursman and her care philosophy.
I will definitely think twice before going back to this St. Mary's location and also am not sure I want to recommend them to anyone else either.
