I was disappointed with my experience today. I have taken a watch there before to have links taken out and I remember the guy being friendly and that I was charged a fair amount. I went there today with my engagement ring and another watch. He was sort of rude when he told me straight up he didn't want to be responsible for the ring and that the diamonds would come out if he made it smaller. I understand if he didn't want to mess with it but he wasn't very nice about it. They didn't say anything nice to me; it was all either rude or strictly business. And then they charged me $20 to take links out of my watch. That is a ridiculous amount considering it took him about 1 minute to do and my sister-in-law took hers to another local jeweler and got the links taken out of the exact same watch for $5. Neither of the items were bought from them but my family has purchased other jewelry from them and I'm afraid they will be losing our service.
Visited this jeweler for the first time a few months ago.
I've been going to Majestic Jewelers for at least 3 years now and it's my first choice to go and sell my unwanted gold and silver. Looking to getting something custom done as well :) Great people, everyone is friendly and welcoming.
For my ring, they quoted me a significantly more reasonable repair cost than their competition and had the repair done in a couple of days. I would highly recommend them.

Once again, and I can't believe I have to leave reviews like this...if you own a business or have employees you should answer the phone with the business name. Don't make me ask you if you are the business I am calling because you answer, "Hello" like you are sitting in your living room playing video games in your underwear. And don't tell me it's a "mall ring" when I've seen the ring I asked you about for hundreds of dollars at reputable jewelers.
