I ♡ Central Park Plaza in downtown Valparaiso!! It's a Great place to relax, meet friends or have lunch. Take a pic with Orville Redenbacher-nice bathrooms directly behind the stage & water fountain. Kids Water play area too.
I love this little downtown park. It used for so many events. It's so well maintained. It is a beautiful addition to quaint downtown Valparaiso.
Free movie under stars, music concerts for ever test from classic orchestra, and band to rock and roll. Ice-skating, ice sculpture competition in the winter. Rent a park for any occasion; have not seen people getting married there yet, but park is always busy ...during a day in the summer there is water sprinkle right from the ground in the center of the park! Don't have time to go to the beach, take you kids to the central park downtown. Let you kids run through multiple sprinkles. Well organized and clean public bathrooms are located behind the stage. Ice cream, soft drinks, water, hot pretzels shops all around the park. You will love your stay in the new Valparaiso downtown park, and I guarantee you will come back again!
Central Park is a FANTASTIC place for ALL. Looking for a spot to COOL the KIDDOS down. The SPLASH PAD is IDEAL. With a little bit of everything that the vendors bring... To LIVE music, Car shows, and a pretty strong POLICE presence. Feel FREE to let loose and ENJOY yourself. I AM
Everything else was great.
Complaints: I kept falling on the ice. The skating aids are too low. Costs too much. The skating area is outside.
