The upstairs is really nice since the remodel. I used to come here for fish but the whole department has kinda gone downhill over the last 2 or so years fish constantly have ick. The quality of the freshwater fish isn't very good anymore.
I've been here multiple times and I am satisfied with the staff and pet selection. First of all, Staff are very nice and know what they're talking about. I remember looking at the tarantulas and a staff member literally hand-held the spider for me to see! I was surprised as most pet stores would never do this. Then the pets. The quality is amazing! I have gotten multiple birds from the place and they lived for years. The fish I get from here always live for a long time. Overall, the quality is very good. I have heard of people complaining about dogs being trimmed and coming out with injuries. Only downside to the establishment. I'd say the training for pet trimming should be improved. Still a very good place. 5 stars. And this is coming from a very judgmental person when I see how something is.
It's bigger than it looks from the outside. The staff was very nice and helpful. Prices are reasonable. I only wish they had more pond supplies. We will definitely shop here again.
