This is about an average Walmart. They have a pretty good selection but their customer service is slightly lacking. I'ts not that they are bad it is really that they just don't have enough staff. The ones that are there are pretty good and helpful. The pharmacy isn't one of the better Walmart pharmacies so I choose not to utilize it. Still, it's not terrible, my complaint is really with the wait time there. Other than these small issues this Walmart is sill a definite value to the city of Valparaiso and the surrounding area.
This Walmart is different from what the rest have become. Walmart has been on a steady slide down since Sam died, but this store takes quality to the next level. The employees are friendly, helpful and most importantly, present. The store is clean and neat. This store is about ten miles farther away than another Walmart and I always prefer this one.
This location has been recently updated and a convenient Pick-up Kiosk and waiting area have been added to the west entrance to make your shopping experience quick and easy. The popularity of this store does make parking and navigating the store a bit frustrating, at times, as the store tends to get crowded. In spite of that, this is a very clean store and seems to always be well staffed.
You can get prescriptions and other supplies and products at reasonable prices. food prices are a little high. The produce is of excellent quality. The generic brands here are pretty good quality across the board. Parking and check out lines are not the best.
For a complex store like this they do a very good job of customer service and satisfaction! The positive effort and assistance from the busy pharmacy crew has impressed my wife and I personally!! They manage to keep the parking lot full, many customers count on this store!
