He also treated his niece for Lyme as well. She was bedridden at the time, and through his treatment, she is 99% better. She was 20, and very, very sick. She is now healthy enough to take long runs every day!!!
Loreta was bitten by something that initially showed as a small circular wound. It rapidly increased in size, and was turning cherry red. We went to an emergency care center, and the NP put her on Keflex. A week later, it was getting worse. I sent a picture to Dr. Tennant, and he encouraged us to go to the ER. We did, and the doctor put her on Doxycycline . Recently her blood work came back POSITIVE for Lyme, but Dr. Tennant believes that they tested only for the anti-bodies, which still would be present. She is fine, and Dr. Tennant is going to be sending some natural products to take as a precaution.
This place is a complete joke!!! My husband smashed his fingers at work and I met him here. Well the stupid people would not let me back into the room with my HUSBAND!!!!! They said it's their "policy". I have never ever heard of a Doctors that won't let their spouce in the room with them!!!! I will never ever come here again. Did I mention we were there for 2 1/2- 3 hours!!!
Dr. Tennant followed up every day to see the progress. He was compassionate, kind and professional. Thank you, Dr. Tennant!!!

My review is not for the working well clinic but for the functional Medicine clinic with Dr Tenannent who team has partnered with Fransican Alliance. We have had great success as I am seeing him for thyroid issues and then weight loss. He has been very thorough with me as my medical history is a bit unique! My sister is also a success story in weight loss, loosing 30 lbs in less the 2 months. She has finally met her goals and on a life long journey of wellness! My son Seth has also started with the wt. loss program, in 5 weeks loosing a whopping 42 lbs!!!! We are so proud of him but with out this program and Dr. T's experience and faith in functional medicine and not pushing pills or surgery makes this the right choice for us!!! Seth is very connected to him as he is uplifting and encouraging our cheerleader!!!! Seth can see the light at the end of the tunnel! He explains every aspect to us and is very knowledgeable of what he is doing for our treatment. He even text with us through the week and the weekend who or what doctor does that!!!! We are very happy with the relationship here and the changes we are seeing both physical and mental in ourselves! It is a whole body approach and a team approach. Can't say enough good! I finally feel my prayers are being answered in my health issues and becoming a new better health women. God Bless Dr T and his staff.
I was suffering from a kidney stone on my way home from work and remembered this "Urgent Care" in Valpo. I somehow made it inside, struggling the whole way, wincing and crying from the pain. Only to be turned away once I spoke to someone that finally showed up 5 minutes after waiting at the window. They don't deal with abdominal pain but she did offer to call me an ambulance...really?! Unbelievable experience, I would never recommend this place to anyone nor would I go here or take any of my family or friends here. What a let down..."Urgent Care" I don't think so!!!
This place is trash, I came in in January with a severe sore throat. The entire staff was rude. The nurse asked if she could run two tests to which I replied "no, please don't run them, I can't afford to pay extra for them and I'm pretty sure that's not what I have anyway" so she ended up doing both of the tests without my consent and they came back negative, just like I had said they would in the first place. (They are still calling me trying to collect the bill for these tests which I refused.) She then reads off my allergy list to me, and proceeds to prescribe me the exact thing I am DEATHLY allergic to anyway.. I was in the ER after visiting here not even four hours later. I strongly advise not coming here and I certainty hope they're aware I'm not paying for tests I didn't consent to.
