Very rude. I called for information on when ideally my child could start and the lady on the phone did not have a clue and was very rude.
They are taking in the infant room in one week slightly over 2000k per week- subtract the cost for employment approx $200per week: 1800k left a week ?????
If they would return a call the responses are so very basic- and are very placating!
I would never take my kids here!!! The two individuals we spoke with on the phone were condescending and showed no compassion at all. I cannot imagine what some of the children who attend this place are exposed to everyday if these people are this stressed over simple phone conversations. I cannot speak for everyone at the facility, but as a Mom who often uses online reviews as a research tool, please don't waste your time with this place.
Don't get me wrong we have had a few great "teachers" 3 specifically -2 are no longer there! This tells you of the CONSTANT turnover as once again we have only been there 5 months!
We were there for 5 months.... 5 months way too long!! This sums it up- MY DAUGHTER GOT SOMEONE ELSES BREAST MILK!!!!
IF YOU LOVE YOUR CHILD AT ALL DO NOT GO HERE!
Not Good- is the understatement!!
Awful! I needed care for an infant and was given a tour of the whole facility except the infant area and with much persistence on my part I was finally shown the room but couldn't go in. On the tour, the lady gave me BS about how there is a licensed professional in there at all times and raved about it and when I asked to meet the person that would be spending everyday with her, the lady stumbled all over her words and said well she gets a lunch and I said I would like to meet the people and there were two ladies in the room with the infants that were talking to each other and all babies were in bouncers. I was told I can make another appointment to meet the "teacher." I thought that is what I did with this appointment. I understand that babies can be in bouncers but all of them and I couldn't even speak with the people that would be taking care of my girl....just very bad feeling from it and never went back.
They have recently increased costs by 10/week- not a big deal - except when you find out what they are actually paying their staff- the head "teachers"- are officially up to $8.50. (ARE YOU KIDDDING ME ???). The most important thing in my entire life - my daughter - and you are paying slightly above minimum wage!
Also makes sense why the owner/ executive director is NEVER there! She needs time to spend all the extra money on toys- four wheelers and jet skis! ( that is not being sarcastic that is a fact)
The owner/ executive director /( they are one in the same) never returns emails ..... EVER AS SHE DOESNT WANT HER MISTAKES in writing (makes sense). We found our daughter with scratches - that they wouldn't notify me about! Bite marks! Finally enough is enough - I'm not asking for miracles but for as much as we pay I at the minimum expect my child not to be harmed- and to be fed what I brought in for her (labeled and dated of course)
That's just one room and one week- how many rooms are there ? 20? Completely makes sense why there was issue after issue at LITTLE U.
We signed up for Little U without going on a tour first- we were scrambling to find care. I took a day off work to get a tour. The front desk lady gave me the tour and she was very nice. When she took me to the infant room, all the babies were in bouncers- which I do not agree with. The head woman was pointed out to me and she seemed very irritated she had to look up from what she was doing to acknowledge me. She then gives the front desk last a snarky comment and forcefully put a bib on a baby right in front of me. The poor baby was very startled and I couldn't believe it. Her demeanor was very poor. I left and called my husband immediately and told him I didn't feel comfortable and we needed to hire a nanny. I called Little U about a week later and let them know I was not sending my child there anymore. The director of the infant rooms called me and asked me what my concerns were- I told her the head lady in the infant room is very rude and she couldn't even introduce herself to me because she was rushing around looking agitated and forcefully put a bin on a baby. The director proceeded to tell me that is the way the infant room is because there's 8 babies to 2 people and there is nothing they can do. She had absolutely no emotion or care that we were not going to be attending or about the head ladies attitude. Having to put your child in daycare is stressful enough and these people do not care! I really hope you tour this place and read the other reviews before you send your child to Little U!
Thank you three for all you have done for my daughter! Now for the rest of you I get why you don't really care - I'm not sure how hard I would work for minimum wage!
Thank God we are out of there!
