Interesting concept. Like the history the place has going on. Food is great. Price is a tad high, but the quality of the food is well worth it. I don’t mind spending a little extra on quality food. If you want something cheap, go to Burger King. For whomever said it’s loud, well yeah, it’s not a wine & dine establishment. Industrial Revolution should tell you enough if you have any common sense!! Great place! 5 stars!!
Food is great. Prices reasonable. You get a lot of food for the money. Staff is friendly. Manager Mark is personable & stops by to chat w/customers. Facility including bathroom is clean. Decor is interesting.
We had the rehearsal dinner at Industrial Revolution for my daughter's bridal party, this past week. What a treat!! The staff was wonderful. From the moment guests arrived until the last one left - all needs and desires were fulfilled. Service was excellent as was the food. It helped that we were able to customize our menu - allowing for a quick but tasty selection. The manager even provided each guest a souvenir quality menu - personalized with the names of the bride and groom and date of wedding, not to mention the restaurant's logo. Food and drinks were served in a timely manner, keeping all our guests very happy. It was a pleasurable evening for all - an evening to remember! We look forward to stopping in on our next trip to Valparaiso! Thank you Industrial Revolution.
This is a very unique place which whereby it is excellent for children because there is a model railroad train that runs around the entire restaurant perimeter on a track mounted near the ceiling which will keep them occupied and excited, it is also a classy though mid budget place to which you can take out of town guests, go on date night or grab a quick business lunch. The interior and ambiance is interetesting and well executed! Everyone at our table loved their food. We experienced meatloaf, a spicy hamburger and an excellent grilled chicken sandwich. I had the Fish & Chips and whereby they were very tasty and the garlic fries were excellent, I wished there had been more of them. I think I actually got 8 or 9 french fries where by my son-in-law having ordered the burger got enough that they were falling off the edge of his plate. I'm sure had I said something, they would have brought a few additional fries for me. I am also used to my Fish & Chips being battered with a crispy flaky batter and theirs are more of a bread crumb batter and the three fish fillets were small. That's the only problem I had with our meal. I still highly recommend it! If however, you are more accustomed to the the British style fish and chips then don't order that here.
This is a fun place to eat! Interesting historic info abounds here, from plaques to sculpture. It seems natural to situate a restaurant/lounge celebrating industry in the Region, where industry has been so important. The food is American/pub, and is prepared with creativity. Try the pretzel appetizer, and make sure you keep an eye out for the train.
